Changing the Game follows six teens from the US, Israel/Palestine, and South Africa, as they unite this June in South Africa at the Football for Hope Festival, an official event of FIFAs 2010 World Cup.  In the township of Alexandra they join youth ambassadors from 35 countries, all using soccer to transform their lives.

Weaving cinema vérité with the teens' first-person video journals, Changing the Game captures a complex story of hope, following their unique difficulties as they prepare to travel away from home.

Though they face different challenges – poverty, religious conflict, and the HIV/AIDS crisis – the international language of soccer unites them, as we discover whether they will team up, regardless of their backgrounds and borders, to change the game worldwide.
